AHS HOSA invites you to our first annual Christmas Ornament Painting Party. This event will take place December 8, 5-7 pm in the AHS Commons. Each participant will get to keep their hand-made ornament. The cost will be $15 per ornament, with a portion of that fee being given back to AHS HOSA. Please RSVP by December 4.
AISD has nine-week grading periods for the 2023-2024 school year. Please see the graphic for key dates in our second grading period.
GT Nominations open on November 6 and will close on December 14. Parents, teachers, staff, counselors, and/or students (grades 7-11) may send in a nomination form for a student. A parent email has been sent with information regarding GT nominations. Please see your campus front office or email Callie Poncik for a nomination form. Completed forms should be returned in the same manner, to the campus front office or sent to Callie Poncik. Testing will take place in January and February with final placement letters being sent home in March.
Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2 to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act into law on this day in 1975 (IDEA). IDEA granted access to children with special needs to free and quality public education. Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of teachers, administrators, staff, students and parents!
